Licensed in New York State, Alison earned her Master of Science Degree in Acupuncture from the Swedish Institute's College of Health Sciences under the direction of Master Jeffrey C.Yuen.  Additional professional studies include Acupuncture Care for Breast Cancer and Lung Cancer patients as well as pre-degree studies at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City.  Meditation is a primary component of Alison's treatment approach.  Her years of personal practice, experience and training enable her to guide and assist patients in developing their own meditation practice to facilitate and assist with their own healing.  Alison also holds a Masters Degree in Urban Policy Analysis from the New School for Social Research, a Business Degree in Materials & Logistics Management from Michigan State University and is Certified as a Sound and Music Healing Facilitator by the Sound & Music Institute.
